Cutlery

Here's a collection of swords, rapiers, and daggers, which are all modeled after real, period weapons. For these models, I used a couple of period fencing manuals and A. V. B. Norman's rapier typology from his book The Rapier and Smallsword - 1460-1820.

An early 17th century Italian-style rapier, an early 17th century Spanish-style rapier, and a 16th century sidesword.

The main gauche, the poignard (or ring-hilted dagger), and the rondel dagger.

Two versions of the long sword - a continental style, and an Irish style.

A close-up shot of the rapier and sidesword hilts. The Italian rapier actually has a German-style "Pappenheimer" hilt.

A close-up of the rondel dagger, showing both wireframe and textured model.
