ScoutBot Droid

Here's a nifty little device I've been working on for a UT 2004 mod named Apprehension. For more information about Apprehension, visit the following web sites:

I'm building the high-polygon version first. That may not be the usual way of doing things, but it lets me concentrate on getting the shape just right. After that, I can go back and build the low-polygon version with a better idea about which details can be normal-mapped and which need to be geometry.

  • Time to model: ~40 hours

  • Time to texture: ~12 hours (so far)
